Change one condition at a time
Ask a specific question, predict what a parameter change will do, then vary one condition in the simulation and compare the result with your explanation. For teaching, choose an activity that serves the learning objective rather than simply playing an animation.
Support understanding, not replace experiments
Simulations can make relationships visible and help explore conditions that are hard to repeat quickly in a classroom. Model assumptions still matter; simulated output is not a measurement from a particular real device.
Linking and reusing are different actions
Check current licensing, attribution and commercial-use conditions before embedding or redistributing simulations, screenshots or videos. This entry introduces the project and links to sources. Its original thematic illustration is not a PhET interface or an experimental result.
